Your Story - Behind the Recipe

The first time I tried this was on my first holiday abroad in Greece. Brings back so many memories it has become one of my favorite meals, not to mention if tastes delicious

Ingredients

  • 2 whole sea bream, cleaned and scaled
  • 4 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup white wine (optional)
Recipe Image
  • 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F)
  • 2. Prepare the fish: Make a few slashes on each side of the sea bream. This helps the flavors penetrate the fish
  • 3. Stuff the fish: Insert slices of garlic, rosemary sprigs, and lemon slices into the slashes and the cavity of the fish
  • 4. Drizzle the fish with olive oil and season with salt and pepper
  • 5. Place the fish in a baking dish. Scatter the cherry tomatoes around the fish and pour the white wine over (if using)
  • 6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork
